Paddy's Irish bar, located in downtown Portland, has been around since the spring of 1979. For over 25 years it has always been the type of Irish pub where people can gather and meet for all kinds of reasons.

Located in the core of the business district in downtown Portland Oregon, there tends to be a mixture of professionals as well as our regular neighborhood folks who just want an unpretentious Portland bar to call their own.

It certainly does not hurt to carry over 500 spirits with an inventory always expanding in variety and volume. Trying to order cocktails in downtown Portland bars was not an adventurous experience until Paddy's open its doors and allowed people real choices for their favorite libation, whether it be beer, wine or whiskey.

Back in '79, it was common of for Portland bars and pubs to serve food that was not only edible but full of taste and variety. That tradition continues on today with all our food being prepared daily. Of course we are known for more than our cocktails and food. While we may have a bit of attitude it also comes with a sense that you are one of us. Friendly without the corporate hooks is the way people put it when describing our Irish pub style.
